In this family program, we discuss the history of the Hijri calendar, blessings of the new year, and goal setting.
Rabbi Al Awwal: Loving Prophet Muhammad SAW (Virtual)
In this family program, we discuss the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, practical ways that children can implement his sunnah, and why we should love him (SAW).
Rajab: A Journey of Faith–Isra Wal Miraj (Virtual)
In this family program, children learn more about the beauty of the Night Journey.
Shabaan: Preparing for Ramadan (Virtual)
In this family program, children learn how to prepare for Ramadan through crafts and planning in an age-appropriate manner.
Dhul Hijjah: The Blessed Days of Hajj (Virtual)
In this family program, children learn about the history of the Kaaba, the significance of Hajj, and the story of Prophet Ibrahim AS and his family.
Ramadan & Eid-Al-Fitr (Virtual)
In this two-part, family program, children will begin the month with us welcoming Ramadan and end the month by celebrating Eid-Al-Fitr.
Virtual Socials & Workshops (Virtual)
Virtual socials are both parent/child and moms/sisters. These interactive sessions are free of charge. Workshops range on a variety of subjects and are geared toward adult audiences.
Shawwal: Keeping the Momentum (Virtual)
In this family program, children learn the virtues of continuing the good deeds learned in Ramadan.
These initiatives include, but are not limited to: clothing/shoes/books/toys swaps, service projects, play groups, and Forest School.
“Introduction to Montessori Parenting Philosophy”
In this class, parents walk away with an understanding of Dr. Maria Montessori’s ideas on interacting with children in respectful ways that lead to their independence and confidence.
“The Prepared Environment”
In this class, educators and parents will gain an understanding of how to create an environment that leads to a sense of order, develops concentration and coordination, and leads to the child’s independence, both in a classroom setting, as well as in the home. Great for educators, parents wishing to implement Montessori principles into the home, and homeschooling families.
“Beginning Lessons” (Ages 3-6)
In this sampler, parents will walk away with a ideas on how to get started in each of area of the Montessori curriculum (Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Geography, and Science.)
2-Hour Home Consultation and Q&A Session
Home consultation comes with a step-by-step guide on how to transform your home into an authentic, Montessori environment room-by-room. In addition, the facilitator offers in-person or virtual presence to help you organize and design your space. This service also offers an in-depth question and answer session to get your burning Montessori questions answered!
1-Hour Montessori Play/Learning Space Design
In this offering, the facilitator offers a guide on designing Montessori-aligned play/homeschooling spaces, as well as an in-person or virtual walk through of the space to assist you in meeting your goals and answering any questions.
